Book Cover Design for an Academic Writer & University professor based in Chicago, United States. 

I’ve been recommended to the Author to help on his new book ‘‘Critical Thinking’’. My engagement was encompassed with a Book Cover Design, as well as Editorial Design & Book Illustrations (which cannot be shown due to NDA).

The book, in a nutshell, is a philosophical & theological approach on the world that surrounds us which teaches us how to critically assess everything in life.

My approach was a pure typographical, visually communicated idea where the word ‘‘CRITICAL’’ is distributed in a way that it forms a ladder. Thus, my whole concept around the Book Cover Design was to emphasise the idea of climbing the ladder when thinking critically. In that way, each individual is going upwards and reaching completely new levels in this thinking & actions.

The Author loved the idea immediately & we proceeded with rest of design.
